Gutirre Estevez (1566-May 1600) was a Spanish Navy captain during the Dutch Revolt. In 1600, he was assigned to captain the Spanish sloop La Perla Negra as it escorted Tomás de Corrales from his job as Mayor of Winststad to serve as the new Governor of San Juan. However, the ship was intercepted by the Dutch privateer Jan Alen as it left Winststad harbor, and Estevez was killed in the ensuing battle, which resulted in the Dutch capturing and looting the ship.
