The Guari raid occurred in 2019 when an American special forces team raided the Santa Blanca Cartel-controlled fishing village of Guari in Bolivia's Espiritu Santo department.
Major Anthony Perryman and his Ghost Recon squad raided the village of Guari to gather intelligence on La Santera's influence operation in Espiritu Santo. The Americans engaged in close-quarters combat as they cleared the village of sicarios, and additional narcos were trucked into the village to take out the Ghosts. Perryman accessed a box of files and learned about La Santera's main chapel in Espiritu Santo, deciding to investigate. The Americans fought off the last of the sicarios before departing to continue their investigation.
