Guanjing Liao (4 November 1073-10 June 1075) was the son of Emperor Daozong of Liao and concubine Ozgul.
Biography[]
Guanjing was born on 4 November 1073 to Emperor Daozong of Liao (a Buddhist Khitan of the House of Liao) and his concubine Ozgul (a Buddhist Uyghur). He was the second son of Daozong and Daozong's first son with Ozgul. In 1074, Guanjing was an unwitting participant of a plot by his mother to assassinate the emperor's son Jun Liao by his wife Khanum Xuan Yi of Liao, as Ozgul planned to kill Jun and make Guanjing the new heir to the empire. However, Daozong found out about the plot due to the efforts of his spymaster, and he convinced his wife to end the plot. The failure of the plot saved the dynasty from possible collapse, as Guanjing was ill in his young years. He died at the age of one as a sickly infant on 10 June 1075.
