A Grenadier is a soldier who is equipped with primitive grenades, founded first by Great Britain. Grenadiers were either Baractu Grenadiers in the Ottoman Empire, Pavlov Grenadiers in the Russian Empire, or the Grenadier Guards of Great Britain.
