Gregory Lancelot Dyess (1865-1899) was an American railroad security guard who lived in Pierre, South Dakota during the Wild West. In 1899, he was shot by Arthur Morgan during the Howes train robbery in Meade County, falling off the train and onto the tracks on Bacchus Bridge.
