Greek Solution is a Greek ultranationalist political party that was founded in 2016 by former Popular Orthodox Rally politician Kyriakos Velopoulos. The party supported action against illegal immigration, the installation of an electric fence on the Turkish border, the detaining of illegal immigrants on uninhabited islands as they awaited deportation, the shutting down of NGOs described as "trafficking companies", investment in the extraction of raw minerals, the restructuring of the education and health systems, economic nationalism, religious conservatism, friendly relations with Russia and China, strong relations with Israel in response to Turkey's relations with Palestine, and Euroscepticism.
