The Greater Poland Voivodeship, also known as Wielkopolska Voivodeship, is one of the 16 voivodeships of Poland, with the capital at Poznan. With 3,374,653 people, it also includes the cities of Kalisz (Kalisch), Konin, Pila (Schneidemuhl), Ostrow Wielkopolski (Ostrowo), and Gniezno (Gnesen).

The Greater Poland Voivodeship was founded on 1 January 1999 as a part of the government of Poland's reforms, forming 16 voivodeships to replace many smaller ones. The voivodeship was the second-largest one, after the Masovian Voivodeship. The important city of Poznan (Posen), among others, is located in the voivodeship, and is its capital. With a population of nearly 3,400,000 people, it is also one of the most-populous.
