Great Plains

The Great Plains is a region of the United States Midwest and American West covered in prairie, steppe, and grassland. The region is perfect for ranching and dry farming due to its fertility, and it used to have a large population of wild bison and horses; however, the bison were hunted to near-extinction by white fur trappers, and the wildlife would disappear as their habitats were replaced by towns and farms.
