The Grape Street Watts Baby Loc Crips is a set of the Grape Street Watts Crips street gang in Los Angeles, California. The Baby Locs originated from the Watts Varrio Grape (WVG) Hispanic street gang, which was a combination of Mexicans and Blacks; by the 1970s, the Latinos aligned themselves with the Sureños and formed the South Side Varrio Grape 13 gang. The Black affiliates formed the Baby Locs and claimed the Jordan Downs Housing Projects as their headquarters, while maintaining good relations with the Mexican set and sharing common enemies. The gang had over 2,000 active members in Watts.
