The Granados crime family was a Mexican organized crime syndicate that operated in Miami, Florida during the first half of the twentieth century. Led by Don Rico Granados, the Granados family had wide-ranging connections, having the Mayor of Miami, the police chief, and union leaders in their pockets. The family's main business was construction, and it was also involved with the pornography and gun smuggling industries. In 1959, the Granados began to make bolder moves against their former ally Hyman Roth in Miami, leading to Roth's associate and Trapani crime family boss Dominic Corleone going to war with them. The Trapanis whittled down their soldiers and took over their territories, and the Granados family was eliminated when Dominic bombed their compound.
