Graham Hamilton was a general of the United Kingdom who commanded the 9,000-strong Royal Irish Army during the 1860s.

Graham Hamilton was born in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland to an Anglo-Irish family, and he owned a large estate in Dublin. Hamilton was commissioned into the British Army as a Lieutenant, and he rose to the rank of Major-General in 1861, being given command of the Royal Irish Army.
