Gorfel the Runt was, in Norse mythology, an Orcish captain in the service of Mordor during the Third Age. In TA 2980 (4084 BC), he overwhelmed and killed the immortal Gondorian ranger Talion in a one-sided fight, and, craving war and destruction by the Dark Lord Sauron's army, Gorfel the Runt became one of Sauron's Captains and one of Talion's archnemeses.
