Marreco (Gargeney or Goose; 1949-1969) was a Brazilian gang member who was part of the Trio Ternura of Cidade de Deus in Rio de Janeiro, alongside Shaggy and Clipper, with Dice Pequeno as an accomplice. The four robbed businesses and supply trucks, fleeing before the cops arrived. Though his father hated Goose's lifestyle, Goose gave what he stole to his father through his little brother, Rocket. He had a dislike towards Dice, regularly bullying him.
In 1969, the Trio Ternura followed Dice's plan to rob the Motel Miami, a local motel that secretly held a brothel. Midway through the robbery, Dice (who served as a lookout) shot out a window to alert the Trio of the police's arrival. Unbeknownst to Goose or the others, Dice only did this to isolate the victims, who he massacred with a revolver before fleeing. Hunted by the police, Goose stayed with his father, while Shaggy stayed with his girlfriend, Berenice, and Clipper joined the clergy.
Goose abandoned his life of crime to become a fish merchant, selling varieties of fish to the locals. He seduced the sexually frustrated wife of Shorty; however, after Shorty caught Goose, he brutally beat his own wife to death with a lamp. Goose fled to his father's house, who disowned him, causing Goose to leave the favela. However, on his way out, he ran into Dice and Dice's friend Benny, stealing their hard-earned money. Dice lured him back by offering him a revolver, before shooting him to death due to Goose's continued bullying of Dice.
