Gomez Cartel enforcers in 1984
The Gomez Cartel was a Mexican-American drug cartel that operated out of Miami during the 1980s, with Gaspar Gomez leading it. In 1983, following Tony Montana's disappearance, Gomez took over North Beach and South Beach from the Montana Cartel, and Montana would wage war against Gomez after returning from hiding in February 1984. Montana would take over North Beach and South Beach as well as Leopard Storage, Gomez's drug storehouse, before flying to Bolivia and killing Gomez and his allies there.
