Gomes de Vitoria (1150-) was a nobleman of the Kingdom of Castile.
Biography[]
Gomes de Vitoria was a proven commander with a talent for command, as well as a generally loyal and religious man. Although he was plain, Vitoria was married to Violante el Valiente in 1170 at the age of 20, joining the ruling House of El Valiente of the Kingdom of Castile. He became one of the governors of Leon, under Rodrigo I of Castile.
