
Godzimir the Peaceful (1034-) was a Cardinal of the Kingdom of Poland.
Biography[]
Godzimir the Peaceful was born in Krakow in the nascent Kingdom of Poland, and became ordained as a priest at a young age. Godzimir abhorred violence, and preached Christianity to the pagans of the Baltic states. He assisted in the Polish conquest of the Baltics by spreading the word of the Bible to the pagan Livonian peoples, as well as the German rebels of Stettin in Pomerania.
