Kim Sang-wan

Go Sang-wan (died 1875) was a Korean nationalist who served in the Righteous Armies during the independence struggle against Japan. He was the son of the great scholar Go Sa-hong, who taught Emperor Gojong. He, his wife Kim Hui-jin, Jeon Seung-jae, and Song Young plotted the assassination of the pro-Japanese official Lee Wan-ik, only for their plans to be betrayed by a traitor within their group, Kim Yong-joo, in 1875. As a result, both Go and Kim were captured and executed by the Imperial Japanese Army.
