Giorgio Strozzi (1920-1959) was an Underboss of the Mangano crime family.
Biography[]
Giorgio Strozzi was born in Sicily, Italy in 1920, and he was fluent in both Italian and Spanish, making him a great negotiator. He became the second-in-command of Mangano crime family boss Samuele Mangano as his loyal underboss, and he often convinced the police not to interfere with Mangano's operations. In 1959, during the Manganos' mob war with Dominic Corleone, Strozzi was sent to Cuba to make friends with the local police. He led attacks on Trapani crime family businesses, and, during an attack on one of Dominic's gun-running rackets, Strozzi was beaten to death with a nightstick.
