Gettys LaMotte (died 1866) was an American Klansman from South Carolina. Born near Charleston, a relative of Justin and Forbes LaMotte, he fought for the Confederacy during the American Civil War and remained loyal to the white supremacist cause after the war's conclusion. He became the leader of the local Ku Klux Klan and recruited Cooper Main into the group as it attempted to sabotage Madeline Fabray LaMotte Main's efforts to educate the local Black community. When Cooper refused to execute his sister-in-law Madeliune or her lover George Hazard, Gettys shoot Cooper, only for George to shoot Gettys dead.
