Geraldo Nascimento Alvarez (1984-) was a resident of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during the 2010s. In 2016, he was forced to flee his home during a BOPE favela clearance operation, during which a massive shootout erupted between the Brazilian police and the Brazilian Militia favela gang.
