Georges Adwan (1947-) was Vice-President of the Executive Committeee of the Lebanese Forces party in Lebanon.
Biography[]
Georges Adwan was born in 1947 in Deir al-Qamar, Lebanon to a family of Maronites. Adwan led the al-Tanzim militia during the Lebanese Civil War, and from 1989 to 1990, the former lawyer Adwan represented the Lebanese Forces of Samir Geagea during talks with Prime Minister Michel Aoun towards the end of the civil war. After the war's end, he became Vice-President of the Executive Committee of the Lebanese Forces.
