
George Walker (1763-19 August 1819) was a US Senator from Kentucky from 30 August 1814 to 2 February 1815, succeeding George M. Bibb and preceding William T. Barry. He was a Democratic-Republican.
Biography[]
George Walker was born in Culpeper County, Virginia in 1763, and he moved to Jessamine County, Kentucky in 1794 and became a lawyer in Nicholasville in 1799. He served in the State Senate from 1810 to 1814 and in the US Senate from 1814 to 1815, serving out George M. Bibb's term until William T. Barry was elected to succeed him. He died in 1819.
