George W. Dunlap

George Washington Dunlap (22 February 1813-6 June 1880) was a member of the US House of Representatives (U-KY 6) from 4 March 1861 to 3 March 1863 (succeeding Green Adams and preceding Green Clay Smith).

Biography[]

George Washington Dunlap was born in Lexington, Kentucky in 1813, and he became a lawyer in Lancaster in 1834 and served as commissioner of the circuit court from 1843 to 1874. He went on to serve as a Unionist member of the US House of Representatives from 1861 to 1863, and he died in 1880.
