George Edward Herlan (1851-) was an American settler who lived in Webster, Day County, South Dakota during the Wild West era. In 1898, he was abducted by the Skinner Brothers gang and taken to "the Loft", where he was rescued by the Arizona Kid after Arizona killed his captors. Arizona then took Herlan to Hamish Sinclair's cabin at O'Creagh's Run, from which Herlan returned to his hometown as Sinclair paid Arizona for his help.
