George Denison (22 February 1790-20 August 1831) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-PA 10) from 4 March 1819 to 3 March 1823, succeeding William Wilson and preceding James S. Mitchell.

Biography[]

George Denison was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania in 1790, and he served as clerk of the Wilkes-Barre borough council before serving as Luzerne County recorder, as a lawyer, in the state house from 1815 to 1816, in the US House of Representatives from 1819 to 1823, and again in the state house. He died in 1831.
