George Craig Ludlow (6 April 1830-18 December 1900) was the Democratic Governor of New Jersey from 18 January 1881 to 15 January 1884, succeeding George B. McClellan and preceding Leon Abbett.

Biography[]

George Craig Ludlow was born in Milford, New Jersey in 1830, and he was raised in New Brunswick. He served in the State Senate from 1876 to 1880 and as Governor from 1881 to 1884, and he was closely affiliated with the railroad industry. He died in 1900.
