Geoffrey Langham

Geoffrey Langham (1593-) was an English explorer who was active in New England during the early 17th centuries. In 1628, he founded the colony of New Tealby in present-day Essex County, Massachusetts, and he established trade links with the local Huron tribes. In response to a French raid on New Tealby, he responded by destroying the French colony of La Nouvelle-Ernée.
