Gatiunwali

Gatiunwali I (1718-1786) was the Minister of the Cherokee Nations from 1783 until 1786 when he died. Gatiunwali was a salacious ruler who had violent outbursts, and was a lackwit. He was interested in foreigners, having allied with Great Britain against the United States, and this led to his downfall in 1786 when John Sullivan took over his towns.
