Gary Palmer

Gary Palmer (born 14 May 1954) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-AL 6) from 3 January 2015, succeeding Spencer Bachus.

Biography[]

Gary Palmer was born in Hackleburg, Alabama on 14 May 1954, and he graduated from the University of Alabama. In 1989, he co-founded what would become the Alabama Policy Institute, a conservative think tank. In 2014, he was elected to the US House of Representatives, and he supported tax cuts, gun rights, the right to life, medical marijuana, bathroom bills, and homophobia.
