Gary Lucas (born 1932) was a Colonel in the US Army and a general information specialist during the Vietnam War.

Gary Lucas was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1932, and he served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, becoming a colonel and a general information specialist under General Robert Corman, who was stationed at the Nha Trang airbase in South Vietnam. In 1969, Lucas and Corman, working with CIA agent R.E. Moore, sent Captain Benjamin L. Willard to assassinate Colonel Walter E. Kurtz, with Lucas playing several of Kurtz's recordings to show that he had become insane.
