
Garret Graves (31 January 1972-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-LA 6) from 3 January 2015 to 3 January 2025, succeeding Bill Cassidy and preceding Cleo Fields.
Biography[]
Garret Graves was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1972, and he served as an aide to Congressman Billy Tauzin for nine years, later going on to serve in several more staff roles. In 2008, Governor Bobby Jindal appointed Graves to manage the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, and he served in that position until 2014. In 2014, he was elected to the US House of Representatives as a Republican Party member.
