
Garn Tienkaew (born 22 October 1961) was the Chairman of the People's Power Party of Thailand from 9 November 2008 to 2003, preceding Supaporn Thiankaew.
Biography[]
Garn Tienkaew was born in 1961, and he became a Lieutenant Colonel of the police before founding the People's Power Party in 1998. He failed in his runs for Governor of Bangkok in 2000 and for the House of Representatives in 2001, and he resigned as PPP leader in 2003. In 2008, he was disqualified from elections for 5 years due to his involvement with the PPP, which was dissolved by the Constitutional Court for corruption.
