Gao Rou (174-263) was an officer of Wei.
Biography[]
Gao Rou was of the same family as Gao Gan, nephew of Yuan Shao. He was originally an officer of Yuan Shao. After the latter's death, he tried to work with Gao Gan against Cao Cao, but didn't get along with him and ended up joining Cao Cao, under whom he rose steadily in rank. In the Incident at Gaoping Tombs, he joined Sima Yi in attacking Cao Shuang.
