Galloway NJ

Galloway Township is a township in Atlantic County, New Jersey. It was founded on 4 April 1774, and it was either named for the Scottish region of Galloway or the loyalist Continental Congress delegate Joseph Galloway. It was the site of the 1778 Battle of Chestnut Neck during the American Revolutionary War. In 2016, Galloway had a population of 36,753 people.
