The Gallon Gang was a Colombian drug trafficking syndicate led by the Gallon family. The gang became famous in 1993 after murdering soccer player Andres Escobar for accidentally scoring a goal against his own team, which caused Santiago Gallon to lose a bet. The gang bribed government officials to ensure that Santiago's driver, the gunman in the Escobar murder, served only 11 years in prison.
