Gallegos (died 1999) was a wealthy Colombian drug trafficker who ran cocaine through Port Newark, New Jersey.
Biography[]
Gallegos was a Colombian drug trafficker in the United States, and he ran his drug distribution center in the basement of a New Jersey apartment complex. Gallegos became quite wealthy, but he faced a major problem: he was operating on DiMeo crime family territory. In 1999, Paulie Gualtieri and Salvatore Bonpensiero forced him to allow them into his apartment, duct-taping his mouth shut and throwing him onto a couch as they stole a suitcase full of his cash. Gualtieri warned him to stay away from Port Newark and to never enter New Jersey again, and Gallegos told Gualtieri that he would tell his men. However, Gualtieri that he had already told his men twice, and he proceeded to shoot Gallegos in the head.
