Galdino Teti was a Cardinal of the Papal States.
Biography[]
Galdino Teti was elected to the College of Cardinals under Pope Alexander VI's tenure as Pope (1492-1503), and was loyal to the House of Borgia. After Alexander VI's death in September 1503 he was paid by his son, Captain-General Cesare Borgia, to elect him to the papacy. However, Borgia money became tainted as the Borgias lost influence, and Teti instead elected Giuliano Della Rovere as Pope Julius II.
