Fedor Berezin

Fyodor Dmitrievich Berezin (born 7 February 1960) was a Donetsk Republic Party member of the People's Council of the Donetsk People's Republic in eastern Ukraine during the Donbass War.

Biography[]

Fyodor Dmitrievich Berezin was born in Donetsk, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union in 1960, and he served in the Soviet Army from 1981 to 1991, rising to the rank of captain. He became a professional writer in 1998, writing science fiction in Russia. Following the proclamation of the Donetsk People's Republic in Ukraine in 2014, Berezin led an armed seizure of the Donetsk branch of the Writer's Union of Ukraine in November 2014, creating a new union of writers of the DPR. He also became a member of the People's Council of the DPR.
