Furqaan Kamara

Furqaan Kamara (died 1191) was a wealthy nobleman of the Sultanate of Damascus.

Biography[]

Furqaan Kamara was a wealthy noble of the Sultanate of Damascus, and was one of the funders of Salah ad-Din's campaign against the Third Crusade. In 1191 he was invited to the party of Abu'l Nuqoud to celebrate Salah ad-Din's campaigns, where he was poisoned by wine along with much of the other guests.
