The Frog Hollers were a waterfront gang of English-Americans who operated in the Five Points during the mid-19th century.

History[]

The Frog Hollers gang operated in the Five Points slum of Manhattan, New York City during the mid-1800s, and they became active sometime after the Battle of the Five Points in 1846. They were enemies with the Chinese Shanghai Sailors gang, and by 1862 they had sent the Shanghai Sailors packing through violent attacks on them.
