The Free Love Youth Party, nicknamed the Flyppies, was a youth-based political organization that was founded by Rainbow Honeysuckle in San Francisco during the 1960s. The Flyppies were formed to spread "free love", partnering with the older "Octogenarians for Orgies" group, but failing to attract members to their group. In 1969, they claimed that an alien revealed his true form to them by emerging from Rainbow's body, and that he revealed the Cult of Arkvoodle to them. The Flyppies happily joined the cult, becoming the first group of people to join the new cult. The Flyppies and Octogenarians for Orgies collaborated to hold a free pancake breakfast where they spread the word of Arkvoodle and attracted additional counterculture youths to their movement.
