Fredo Clemente (1899 - 1958) was an Italian-American mobster, serving as the underboss of the Clemente crime family until its dissolution in 1951 after the death of Fredo's brother, Don Alberto Clemente. During Prohibition, Fredo moved to Havana, Cuba to run a bootlegging business that soon became the primary supplier of bootlegged rum to the United States. He also owned the Oriental Park racetrack as legitimate income to conceal his criminal activities. Though he hated the heat of Cuba, Fredo enjoyed the fact that he was untouchable there.
After his brother's assassination, Fredo ran his faction of the Clemente crime family out of Havana until the Cuban Revolution, when he was killed in the chaos.
