Frederick Augustus Pike (9 December 1816-2 December 1886) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-ME 6) from 4 March 1861 to 3 March 1863 (succeeding Stephen C. Foster) and from ME-5 from 4 March 1863 to 3 March 1869 (succeeding John H. Rice and preceding Eugene Hale).
Biography[]
Frederick Augustus Pike was born in Calais, Maine in 1816, and he became a lawyer in his hometown in 1840. He served as Mayor of Calais from 1852 to 1853, in the State House from 1858 to 1860, in the US House of Representatives from 1861 to 1869, and in the State House from 1870 to 1871. He died in 1886.
