Freddie Lowther (1844-1888) was a member of the Rooks gang.
Biography[]
Freddie Lowther was born in 1844 to a poor family in London, and he decided to join the Rooks street gang in 1868. He was recruited from Devil's Acre by Jacob Frye, and the two of them assaulted a police carriage, killing two Metropolitan Police Service policemen (including Sydney Lord). Freddie worked in the Rooks for many years until 1888. In 1888, Jack the Ripper killed Freddie because he was faithful to Jacob Frye.
