Fred Herbert Brown (12 April 1879-3 February 1955) was the Democratic Governor of New Hampshire from 4 January 1923 to 1 January 1925 (succeeding Albert O. Brown and preceding John G. Winant) and a US Senator from New Hampshire from 4 March 1933 to 3 January 1939 (succeeding George H. Moses and preceding Charles W. Tobey).

Biography[]

Fred Herbert Brown was born in Ossipee, New Hampshire in 1879, and he worked as a professional baseball player before serving as Mayor of Somersworth, as Governor of New Hampshire from 1923 to 1925, and as a US Senator from 1933 to 1939. He died in Somersworth in 1955.
