Francis Garone was born in Manhattan, New York City, New York in 1977 to an Italian immigrant family. Garone became a member of the Ancelotti crime family at a young age, being arrested for manslaughter at the age of 18 in 1995 and again in 1997. Garone was suspected of being responsible for several unsolved murders and disappearances, and he became known as a cruel enforcer for the American Mafia. Garone was later elevated to the "made" position of Caporegime, making him the second capo of the family, next to Anthony Spoleto. After Spoleto's murder in the Inwood salvage yard bombing of 2008, Garone was quick to blame the Albanian Mob for the murder, and he beat up Albanian gangster Vesid Krasniqi in Times Square while calling him a "sneaky scumbag". However, Irish Mob hitman Niko Bellic, acting on the orders of Pegorino crime family ally Gerald McReary, arrived at the scene while dressed in Albanian clothing and chased Garone on a motorcycle. Garone attempted to flee, but he was gunned down by Micro-Uzi fire before he could escape.
