Biography[]

Frank Mathers was born in 1945 in New York City, New York, United States to an English-American family. He was an aficionado of the sea, and he moved to Hollywood in Los Angeles to become a novelist. He eventually became a television producer, and he produced shows such as "Angel and the Knight", "My Drunk Uncles", and "Just the Five of Us". In 2009 he left his wife of 20 years to marry his assistant Abigail Winthrop. In 2013, Mathers died while testing a new submarine in the Pacific Ocean off Santa Barbara, with the submarine falling into scattered pieces. His body was never found. The act may have been attributed to Abigail, who attempted to skip town after his death.
