Frank Hague Eggers (22 February 1901-8 July 1954) was Mayor of Jersey City from 17 June 1947 to 16 May 1949, succeeding Frank Hague and preceding John V. Kenny.
Biography[]
Frank Hague Eggers was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1901, the nephew of Frank Hague. Following his uncle's retirement in 1947, he was appointed Mayor, serving as his puppet, but he lost the 1949 election to John V. Kenny and thus concluded 30 years of rule by the Hague family. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage in 1954.
