Frank Grasso

Frank Grasso (born 18 October 1969) was an FBI agent.

Biography[]

Frank Grasso was born in New Jersey in 1969 to a family of Italian descent, and he became an FBI agent. He was one of the agents assigned to investigate DiMeo crime family boss Tony Soprano, and Soprano insulted him in Italian after he accidentally broke an item in Soprano's kitchen while searching his house, nearly causing a fight between Grasso and Soprano before agent Dwight Harris broke it up.

Later, Grasso was present when Harris and FBI chief Frank Cubitoso played wiretap recordings for Soprano, revealing that his mother Livia Soprano and uncle Junior Soprano consorted to kill him. In 2000, Grasso was also present with agent Skip Lipari when forcing Salvatore Bonpensiero to wear a wire during AJ Soprano's confirmation party. In 2001, Grasso was present at a meeting where it was agreed that a wiretap should be placed in the Soprano house basement, and later watched the live footage from the basement where Grasso pointed out his boiler is about to burst. Grasso served as the handler for DiMeo capo Raymond Curto.
