
Frank Darr Jackson (26 January 1854-16 November 1938) was the Republican Governor of Iowa from 11 January 1894 to 16 January 1896, succeeding Horace Boies and preceding Francis M. Drake.
Biography[]
Frank Darr Jackson was born in Arcade, New York in 1854, and he went to college in Iowa and became a lawyer in Greene in 1875. He served as Secretary of State from 1885 to 1891 and as Governor from 1894 to 1896, after which he became a life insurance company president and retired to Redlands, California, where he died in 1938.
